Dementia is not unheard of here at Wrinkle World so, when my breakfast
partner Roy this morning said he saw me last night, I was momentarily
taken aback.  Turns out he had tuned into Ken Kramer at 8 PM and saw an
old interview with me. Carry on.

Doug Kvandal '66 is hauling his Hammond organ over to KSDS to
help them kick off Pledge Week.  He's supposed to show up at 1
today, but doesn't know for sure what time he'll "tickle the
ivories".  (Can you say that about an organ?)  The cool thing is,
no matter where in the world you are, you can listen in on your
computer -- or cell phone probably.  Click HERE and
      give a listen.

Holy Crap!  Nobody told ME! I better leap out of this wheelchair
and get to work.  I swore I'd never take another job involving
money after I volunteered, in 1972, to be the Secretary-Treasurer
of the Pacific Beach Town Council.  I thought it meant I'd be the
Secretary TO the Treasurer -- not the Secretary AND the Treasurer.

This is the newest photo, taken last week, on the "South on 101
at Torrey Pines Beach" page.  Click HERE
to back the "back story" on this shot, and tip-toe back through
      history with the photos.

Sadly, it looks into the sun causing pesky shadows, but I think
you'll enjoy perusing this 1967 aerial of San Diego State.  Click
      HERE
to check out an enlargement.  (Yes I DID make it extra large for
      your viewing pleasure)

Looks like a hammer was my first real project in Mr. Nelson's
Metal Shop class at Horace Mann in 1958.  As I recall it was a
little thing my girlfriend could put on a chain and wear around
her neck.  Oh -- like I had a girlfriend in 8th Grade.  Click HERE
      to for an enlargement.

Bob Richardson '61 sends word of the passing of his classmate
Fred Cairns.  Fred's wife said Fred died of a stroke this past
week.  When Dave LeMay appointed me to the original Crawford
Foundation I had the pleasure of working with Fred's sister Betsy
      Cairns Chamberlain.
