For people who attended Crawford High School or would have attended if they hadn't
moved -- or just have fond memories of San Diego in the '40s, '50s and '60s.

Check out the Crawford High web site.

This is just silly, and I fear there are now a about a bajillion people who have no idea who Liberace was.

---------------------------------------------------

Pretty soon there will be a bajillion people who never heard of Elvis Presley, much less Orion Samuelson.  I treasure the memory of visiting the farm folk on my family tree and listening to the latest "Pork Belly" reports in the morning over coffee.

I know the photo on the left is San Diego (the bridge might be a clue), but every time it pops up on the internet I think of the illustrations in the "Scuffy the Tugboat" picture book of my youth.

I was placing Tom Cassie's photo on the Class of '62 Obituary Page when I came across Jerry Drilling, who died in 2115.  I had forgotten about, or maybe was too busy to read, this amusing anecdote I'll call "Three Drillings -- No Waiting"

Here's an ad from some Little League Programs Tom Cassie donated many years ago.  Click HERE to check them out.

I've updated the Carnegie East San Diego Library page.  Just a guess on my part, but I think this building, was replaced with a newer building, and an even newer library has been built a couple of blocks away.  Click HERE and check out the new photos I've added.
