I TOLD you that Australian Tax Refund was legit!!  And I didn't even have to click on the link to get my money.  It should be along any time now.

Yours Truly and last week's Media Star Candy Mann Sharkey '67 pose for a picture at the Old Folks Home in Clairemont.  My normal 18-minute lunch went to 90 because Candy is an excellent conversationalist.

I couldn't resist this 1959 of the Disneyland I remember.  Click HERE to see it enlarged.  It really IS a spiffy shot.

Apparently a lagoon was created under the Cabrillo Bridge for the 1915 Panama-Pacific Exposition.  Click HERE to see an enlargement of this gorgeous pastorale.

When should parents cut off their kids' allowance?  Six Colts offered their opinion in the August 21, 1960 San Diego Union.  Yes that IS 65 years ago.  Click HERE to see what they said.

I was looking for something else when I rediscovered the Pam Burroughs Collection page on my own web site.  What a treasure!  Click HERE to see what I mean.

Micheal Palmer ‘68 passed away unexpectedly at his home in Lakeside on June 4, 2025, five days short of his 75th birthday.  He attended Grossmont College and Cal Poly Pomona.  He was a licensed contractor and a licensed architect, founding — in 1973 — the architectural firm Micheal Palmer & Associates.  Even after his retirement in 2020, he continued to be a mentor and friend to anyone who needed his help.
