Well, THIS Facebook image brought back memories!

I was watching college football last weekend and one of the
quarterbacks was a “Sixth-Year Senior”.  Apparently redshirting
gives you an extra year and COVID an additional one.  I mention
this only because my friend Jeff Dalrymple, back in the ‘60s at
San Diego State, was the only sixth-year Senior I had ever heard
of.  But he just kept changing his major.

My word of the week is feckless.  I’ve seen it before but didn’t
know what it meant and couldn’t really tell by the context, other
than it wasn’t good.  Turns out it means irresponsible.  I’m still
not gonna add it to my vocabulary.

I'm guessing this view of downtown San Diego dates to around
      1947.  Click HERE

      ago.

And HERE
to take a look at the Pacer from November 12, 1964, from 60 years
      (also, ouch) years ago.
