When dogs go to work!
Eat your heart out Leatha McGowan Cooksy! Here's the '66 Mustang
that is Joe Falcone's pride and joy.
Remember College Denim? Me neither, but the recently-posted
Facebook photo looked awfully familiar. Turns out it was taken at
the same time as the Sombrero Taco Shop photo I shared in the
past. Click HERE
to see them all together.
Also shared earlier was this photo of the Carnation store at 3036
El Cajon Blvd. I've added two vintage photos, maybe from 1950, to
the page. Click HERE
to check them out.
Remember the discussion we once had about "Cafeteria Food"? Click

My Sister, Barbara Boren (Johnson) was a waitress there for a long time. She was in the first graduating class of Crawford '59. I still remember when I graduated Jr. High at Horace Mann ('67) going there and she got me this huge hot fudge sundae. She had a following in her job. Went to Aunt Emma's in El Cajon and then to Black Angus in El Cajon before retiring to breed Tonkinese cats.
