This made me laugh the last time I ran it. It still conjures up an image of Fats Domino.

I hadn't seen this photo since I first spotted it while volunteering at the Title Insurance & Trust Photo Collection in the Summer of 1965.  It showed either the Real Estate Boom of the 1880s, or the Bust of the 1890s.  It may have been taken in Golden Hill.  Click HERE for a larger image.

Rob Richardson shares this wonderful 1966 color photo of Ken Ziegenfuss and Bob's wife Carole Smithson Richardson in Mission Beach where Lido Court meets the Boardwalk.  Bob just learned that Ken passed away July 19th of last year.  Carole, ironically, died 24 years ago today.  Click HERE for a larger image and a whole bunch more stuff about Ken.

Circus Vargas is in town, through April 7th I think.  That's reason enough to revisit the Clyde Beatty Page, featuring a great 1949 phoro from,once again, Bob Richardson.
