Sort of like Burger King for Buzzards, one of which (or is it whom?)
is walking away with his (or is it her?) order.

You know that Superman comic book your Mom threw away? It sold for $15 million last week.

I'm picturing weary travelers in the 1930s pulling into the Blue Pacific Auto Court at 5324 El Cajon Blvd -- Highway 80 at the time -- and asking how close to the ocean they were. It later became the Blue Pacific Motel, and McDonalds and Yoshinoya Asian Food. Was there a Denny's there once? Click HERE to see what I put together.

My '62 classmate Gayle Kirby Price awoke at her Alpine retreat last Fry Day and decided to roll down the hill and visit yours truly. We had a delightful time. I won't tell you what we talked about, but it mostly involved the "delights" of growing old. Gayle's having a lot of fun as a member of the Red Hat Society. I make the age requirement, but I'm the wrong sex -- and I don't have a Red Hat.

Not exactly Raiders of the The Lost Ark, but Larry Okmin found some old Pacers, one of which contained the long-missing Pages 1 & 2 of the June 10, 1964 Graduation Issue. Click HERE to check out the fait accompli.

Oh, what a long-ago quaint concept. Now, it's how many rings can
I hang on my lips, or what color should my nose ring be?

Well, you can't talk about the Campus Drive-In without visiting the Rancho. There are some wonderful vintage cars on the Rancho Drive-In Page. I can clearly remember the greens and blues of the Rancho neon, but have never seen a good color photo. Click HERE to take a look.
