moved -- or just have fond memories of San Diego in the '40s, '50s and '60s.

August 20, 2021

People, people, people!!  NEVER shoot a photo with a sun-splashed background!!  And if you do, try to turn on your fill-in flash.  I ended up converting this photo to black and white in hopes of getting a little detail.  It's '64 classmates Barry Penn, Ron Wicks and Tom Petersen celebrating the latter's 75th birthday.

I enlarged this postcard of the for your viewing pleasure, but wasn't sure where to post it.  It's on the 54th & El Cajon Llama Rides page.   Click HERE and all will be revealed.

Kenneth Marshall ’69 died on August 1, 2021.  The first of three children born to Melvin and Alice Marshall, Kenny spent the majority of his years as a resident of San Diego.  Ken was hired by Rohr after high school.  He worked as a machinist, primarily responsible for overhauling and refurbishing aircraft components, until retiring on September 8, 2013.   Ken was an avid bass fisherman having been mentored by the award-winning bass angler and author Bill Murphy.  In addition to bass fishing, he enjoyed fishing the mountain lakes above Beaver, Utah with his brother in-law.  Getting away from the city and breathing mountain air was always a treat.   Ken is survived by his sisters June Karen Post and Carolyn Marshall.  (I couldn't find a photo in the annual, or even a mention.  I wonder if Ken arrived at Crawford late in his Senior Year)
