If you haven't been out of the house for a few years, girls
apparently pay extra for jeans that look like this.
As good a time as any to revisit the Cars Colts Drove To School
Page. Take off the emergency brake and click HERE.
Dan Richards ’65 did a little digging and came up with a nifty that features Larry Blum AND the late Bill Walton. Click HERE and enjoy. In addition I found an interesting USF alumni bio of Larry. Click HERE to read it.
This headline from the May 12, 1960 Pacer might lead you to believe that Ervin Somogyi went on to a career in politics. Oh, no! The native of Hungary is presently a renowned luthier (look it up -- or, better yet, click HERE). His bio boggles the imagination.
I went down a rabbit hole and came back up with my ’62 classmate
Sharon Mitchell Danner. What I thought she said was that she’d
found a 1950s map of the San Diego Zoo on the web and wanted to
know how to download it. I assumed so she could send it to me. I
told her I could probably find one on my own and did. Turns out
she just wanted to print out a copy for her teenage granddaughter
to show her how the zoo looked when we were kids. It wasn’t so
much a “download” problem as it was an “empty ink cartridge”
problem. I liked the map so much I decided to share it with you,
then discovered I already had in the distant past. I’ll share it
again, in a larger format. Click HERE
to check it out.
