El Cajon Boulevard

Do you remember Glenn's? This photo is one of many you can find on the El Cajon Blvd Web Site sent in by Judy Lyle MacInnes '62. Click HERE to check it out. It even has a video produced by Crawford High. Don't give up. There are great photos and articles about the State Theater, and the history of Highway 80, and restaurants.

  1. The video history of El Cajon Blvd found on the web site is terrific. Brings back memories of many trips down the boulevard. AND, it was done by some Crawford students of today.

  2. I checked out the Boulevard site and so many memories came back! I particularly love the photos of the State Theatre! I still live a few blocks north and have seen the Blvd go through it's ups and downs through the years. The website is a nice reminder that it's again headed in the right direction! Although, I wish someone had a picture of Calbox - the pet store that was located around Estrella/El Cajon Blvd. Lots of memories of going there and playing with the puppies!
